TMS - Tractor Management System

What you find with your Fendt tractors is that the Vario transmission is not a standalone system. Instead, it is integrated with and enhanced by nearly every other system on the machine. One example of this is Fendt's Tractor Management System (TMS).

The TMS monitors and manages engine and transmission speed, ensuring that your set groundspeed is maintained regardless of changing field conditions (hills, soil, etc). This further increases fuel efficiency, and has the added effect of decreasing operator fatigue. Once the system is activated, the operator merely selects the desired speed and TMS does the rest. While traveling through your field, if you encounter hills or tough soil, TMS senses the change and boosts engine RPMS to compensate. If increased engine speed still fails to maintain the preset speed, the transmission ratio is adjusted until the speed can be met. When conditions return to normal, the transmission ratio is returned to normal and the engine throttles back down automatically. Of course the system also works for the opposite condition - if field conditions require less power in certain areas the TMS will reduce engine speed, saving you fuel. The result is consistent results across the field, with less fuel and effort on your part.

How difficult is it to enable the TMS during operation? The operator only has to push a button on the armrest to switch TMS on, then hold the joystick forward until the desired speed is achieved. Release the joystick and the machine with maintain that speed. To slow down the set speed, pull back on the joystick. If you would rather not control your speed via the joystick, driving with the foot pedal takes no more effort than driving an automatic transmission truck. Push the pedal down and accelerate to the desired speed; let up on the pedal and the machine with slow down.

Two independent cruise control settings are available with TMS. Two different speeds can be stored and selected later with the touch of a button. To select any current operating speed as a cruise setting, just tap the joystick to the right. Consistent ground speed in a Fendt is never more than a button away.

Tai vat dabar paaiskinsiu kodel man labiau patinka pedalas nei juistikas (transporte ir miske zinoma ne darbui lauke). Dabar isivaizduok, kad uz vairo pakankamai zioplas traktoristas (kaip tu sakai boba ar ba kaip as jaunysteje :lol: ) vaziuoji ir staiga kliutis (isbego kas nors i kelia ar pan) kokie veiksmai? Trauki atgal joistika ir spaudi stabdi, bet kaip sakiau isivaizduok pakankamai ziopla vairuotoja kuris sumaiso pedalus ir kerta per gaza (pats zinai buna tokiu atveju) ka daro traktorius?
